Church Choir Report 2015 - 2016
The church choir expresses its sincere sympathy to the family of our organist, choirmaster and beloved friend, Trevor Gamble who died peacefully at his home a few days before Christmas. Trevor bore his illness very courageously and will be missed by us all. We remember with gratitude Trevor’s love of music and his abiding contribution to our church’s worship and also for his commitment to the Presbytery Choir. We pray that God will continue to comfort the Gamble family in their sad loss.
Church praise continues to be led by our many dedicated choir members and also those who help out over the year at our special services. We welcome two young people have joined the choir recently and if there are others wishing to sing with us, feel free to do so. When young people join in the work of our choir it insures continuity for the future.
Our sincere thanks to the following organists who have been playing each Sunday over the past months: Frances Graham, Kathleen Russell, Emma Burns and Jane Watt. We are blessed that they willing give of their talents at the organ Sunday by Sunday.
We pray that God will bless all aspects of our church life and witness.
